I'll stamp all over 'credible fighter' Jake Paul - Joshua

Anthony Joshua and Jake Paul face-off

The British boxer will face Jake Paul in an eight-bout match which will be broadcast live on Netflix.

British boxer Joshua stated he will "dominate completely" the American and "defeat" his opponent as the two fighters met personally to publicize the upcoming boxing match.

Former two-time unified heavyweight champion Joshua battles social media star turned fighter Paul - in what is, theoretically, a massive disparity - at Miami's Kaseya Center on 19 December.

Boxer's Mindset

"I plan to damage his features and damage his physique. My goal is to show my superiority," Joshua, 35 years old, said.

"I plan to overwhelm him. That's how fighters think.

"I intend to really want to injure him. That's my intention."

Respectful Interaction

In spite of those words, a composed Anthony Joshua and internet personality Jake Paul - typically known for his dramatics - shared friendly words and remained civil with each other.

Paul rather targeted former Joshua rival the Cameroonian fighter and labeled him "ridiculous" after the Cameroonian rejected a match opportunity.

Taking Aim at Fury

Anthony Joshua, at the same time, targeted UK rival Fury - and rejected a million-pound wager 'The Gypsy King' claims he will make on a Paul win.

"Jake Paul is superior to Fury - he showed up," Joshua commented.

"I respect him for that."

Serious Opponent

Despite declaring he will punish Paul, Anthony Joshua declined to speak negatively about his opponent's pugilistic talent.

"Jake is a credible opponent," he remarked.

Paul's History

Jake Paul - who first rose to fame on the Disney Channel - has primarily fought mixed martial artists or faded names since turning professional.

He was defeated by Briton Tommy Fury in 2023.

Commercial Attraction

Still, the inexperienced fighter continues to be one of boxing's largest financial successes, frequently receiving substantial earnings.

Forecast and Belief

The 28-year-old forecast a knockout win in round four or five and asserted he would stop the long-awaited Joshua–Fury fight, which is reportedly in the works for two years from now.

"The next fight will be my match with Fury in the coming year," Jake Paul stated.

Size Disparity

As the two fighters engaged in the usual confrontation, with their physical disparity on show, it emphasized just how unlikely this whole event is - and how remarkable it is that the fight is really happening.
